APPLICATION: A contemporary fixture design which accentuates modern architectural schemes. The METRO Series offers a wide variety of light sources, sizes and finishes ensuring the specifier a design choice that will reflect their theme.
LAMP TYPES: Fixtures are designed to accommodate up to 150 watt incandescent, metal halide or high pressure sodium lamps. Fixtures are also available with triple tube 4-pin compact fluorescent lamps of up to 32 watts. Ballasts are remote mounted, ballast behind SC plate on WPLS or ceiling mounted for TPLS. HOUSING: Heavy gauge spun aluminum.
GLASS GLOBE: Thermal shock, heat and impact resistant threaded glass globe. Choice of clear, prismatic or opal. Other globe colors available. Glass fits tightly die-cast aluminum fitter and is gasketed for weather-tight service.
BALLAST: Highest quality copper wound core and coil. 100% factory tested. 180°C Class H insulation system. High power factor design. High reactance (HX) or high power factor reactor (RH) type depending on particular lamp type. Compact fluorescent ballast is electronic high power factor type. UL 1029 Listed. Minimum starting temperature -40°F (HPS) -30°F (MH or MV) -25°F (CFL).
OPTICS: Glass globe combination provides an efficient round (Type V) light distribution pattern. Optional opal glass globe further reduces brightness.
SOCKET: Porcelain sockets feature nickel plated screw shell and spring-loaded center contacts. 4KV pulse rated and UL Listed. Compact fluorescent fixtures feature high heat polymeric plug-in type lamp holder.
MOUNTING: Fixtures may be ordered with either top or side mounting hub (3/4-14 N.P.T.) for stem, cord or wall bracket installations. Fixtures are compatible with all 3/4" size Bock goosenecks, wall or pole top brackets. Standard and custom wall mount brackets are available - see options.
FINISH: Electrostatically applied and thermally cured polyester powder coat finish in choice of colors.
LISTING: Underwriter’s Laboratories 1598 listed for wet locations. C-UL certified for Canadian use.
